Toshiba External Drive 500 GB: Reliable!
I needed a new external hard drive to back up my desktop. Haven't had any trouble with other Toshiba external drives I have. Those are simply for entertainment now, since I don't want to fill up the desktop PC.
Full backups take many hours, so not concerning. I expect it will perform well for some time. 500 GB is plenty for me. You may want a different size for your needs.
