Nostalgic
I love this.
My parents had one in the car when I was about 7, and I always remembered it.
Now it's nice to have one in my car.
The fragrance still works even, after using the pin.
Once it's run out, i'll keep it for aesthetics reasons alone.

A good all round organizer

It measures about 1'x1'x2', and has two main sections.
They're big enough to hold a gallon bottle of oil, screen-wash, tire pump, and some deionized water.
As well as a few other bits and bobs.
Is sturdy, and doesn't slide around thanks to the rubber feet. Most importantly, it keeps everything upright so it doesn't risk spilling.
It's a nice and standard gray color. so it fits well with most cars.
Very glad I bought this, and don't know why I didn't sooner.
Highly recommended.

Work, but not blue/white
Firstly, it's a good quality lamp from a reputable brand name.
They light up, and get the job done. They are road legal, and not LED - So suitable for use in a headlight assembly where the main halogen is close to the sidelight bulb
They appear to be constructed to a high standard too - Filaments were supported well and centered well in the envelope.
They draw the same current as a standard 4w 12v lamp (~0.27A), as tested on a lab power supply.
However, they do not shine blue/white as the packaging states. Compared to long-life clear glass lamps of the same fitting (GE 50% longer life, from Halfords), they offer absolutely no difference in color or brightness. They still shine with a yellowish hue.
Behind the diffused glass of the headlight assembly, it was impossible to tell which bulb was long life and which was the Ring blue/white one.
The blue tinting on the glass envelope of the lamp is just too pale to have any impact on the light passing through.
If you're looking for a pair of bulbs that just work, then these will do.
But you might as well save a few bob and get a pair of standard clear glass ones.
Don't buy them expecting them to match your cool blue headlights.
