The best hot mustard you can buy

Beautiful to look at but didn't quite meet my expectations.
I don't intend to dissuade anyone from purchasing this product. This is strictly my opinion. First, it is absolutely beautiful to look at. The finish is flawless and impressive. It's beautifully made. Now the reason for my low rating. I had played this exact same ukulele belonging to a student of mine and fell in love with it. It sounded rich and mellow with just the right amount of sustain. I have several other ukes but decided it was time to get a quality instrument. Mine sounds nothing like the one I tried. I'm assuming it probably has a lot to do with the strings because he has different strings. The nut on mine is very high so I have difficulty playing on the first fret. I know these things can all be remedied and I'll work on doing that so hopefully I can feel better about spending so much. I do love the built-in tuner and the fact that it has a pickup. It just doesn't sound the way I hoped it would. I'm not saying it's not a quality instrument because it is. It just didn't stand up to the sound I had dreamed to have resonating in my ears.
