Essential reading to understand how mobile warfare developed in 1941.
This book was written by an Engineer as well as a Russian Armored Officer. He had access to files long kept from researchers in Russian archives. He writes on the mechanical ability inherent in the design to actually perform tasks assigned. He also shows how the Tanks were incapable of performing tasks that their design precluded them from actually doing in Real Life use.
This book may not be for everyone. The folks who will not like it are those who have an opinion on what was the best tank in World War Two and argue that with no facts but an opinion.
This will be valuable to those with an interest in military history as well as those who are simulating events from the past.
The book only covers the Invasion of the Soviet Union to the end of 1941. I would be pleased if he follows with other books covering the same ground for the tanks produced and in use in the later years of the war.
This book as worth every cent as it provides information and analysis not to be found on th Internet.

All one needs to know to understand why there was heavy casualties. More in common with World War One than World War Two.
This is how Military History should be written. Clear narrative with details that explain the decisions made on both sides during the battle. The included maps are some of the best I have seen to illustrate how the terrain shaped the fighting. This book can be useful to a student as well as a professional.
G.H. Bass & Co. Mens Parker Genuine Leather Classic Saddle Lace-up Oxford Shoe

A lot of shoe for a great price.
Shoe looks great, fits true to size. It is very comfortable and very little break in time needed. It is a American classic style, how can you go wrong with a Saddle Shoe. Would buy again.
