this is not what i need for what i wanted to do.

BUT, i bought it when i saw that it had a remote. i expected the remote to allow the photographer to get in the picture, but its not that kind of remote. it only serves to allow the user to show the pix that are already on the sd card. like a remote for a slide projector. big disappointment. if the description of the remote function had been clear, i would have purchased something else.

bolted it in. plugged it in. started working immediately.
