A Big Thanks to Warm Audio

You have to give it up to Bryce and the gang at Warm Audio. Simply put, they make quality gear. I own a couple of their compressors, and their preamps. Everybody knows those are awesome. But, just recently have I delved into their mics, and I was blown away. I was testing my AKG P220 and the Warm Audio WA-47jr side by side. Needless to say, the 47jr blew the other away. It was the absolute 1st time i heard the quality difference between two different mics. I'd been trying for many months, a d it took buying the 47jr to really hear what quality top end sounds like. All of my other middle of the line mics failed in comparison to this one. I love Warm Audio, and their commitment to high end production with an affordable price tag. Thank you Warm Audio!

MXL is "Under Rated"

M x l never ceases to amaze me with their microphones. I am the proud owner of many of their models, and I am happy with all of them. Especially the 2003. I was expecting it to be shimmery.In the high end up around ten thousand, it surprised me by sounding full, even at the higher end. Buy MXL. They have not let me down yet.
