Banana Plugs: What have I been missing out on for so long?
The Nakamichi banana plug system will work well. The plastic housing will minimize the likelihood of the positive and negative terminals shorting out. Very good design.
I would expect nothing less than excellence from Nakamichi products. Their cassette decks are the benchmark for all others to measure up to. I should add that the cassette format is practical and very musical. Compared to cassettes, MP3 and Ipod and thumb drives for music is junk.
Lest I digress; the banana plug system will make speaker hook up a snap. In this case I got a fantastic deal on these plugs. They are clearly high end grade. The gold plating will get the signal to the speakers.
Do go with these banana plugs. You will be pleased with your decision to do so.

The Technics SL-1800 A Dream Table
The SL-1800 direct drive manual turntable was offered for sale from 1977 to about 1979.
At the time these were highly coveted units (same for the SL-1600 (automatic) and SL-1700 (semi-automatic)). To this day the SL-1800 is desired for obvious reasons. Ease of use, craftsmanship, reliability are virtues of this model and they jump out at you when you first lay eyes on this unit.
When playing a record the sound of music itself comes out of the loud speakers. Not only is this model appealing to the ears but the eyes as well. An SL-1800 is very easy on the eyes as well and goes hand in hand with a proper layout of the controls.
Many DJ's would love to get their hands on a pair of these. The dual isolation works perfectly to damp out unwanted feedback as well.

The title of this publication sums it up. No more needs to be said.
Before I bought this book, I looked at listings for the text. Was very impressed with the content.
As the title implies, the publication is a guide to building many tools for gardening and more.
Though it is an older book; the content is still applicable in today's age.
I expect to get a lot of good use from this book.
