Acorn Instruments Masterkey 49 USB MIDI Controller Keyboard 49-Key

Perfect size, cheap enough
I wanted a very simple and relatively small MIDI controller keyboard so I got the Acorn Masterkey 49. I have a 61 key M-Audio Axiom (original model) but it's quite a big rig to easily pull up on the desk and use for composing at a moments notice when inspiration strikes. The Acorn model is just right size for that and is pretty much exactly what I wanted. The knobs and sliders are easy to link up to on screen controls in certain VST instruments with a simple right click of your mouse. My only complaint is getting used to the velocity sensitive keyboard. You have to hammer down pretty hard or your notes will trail off into silence easily. I wasn't real fond of the semi-weighted keys on the M-Audio Axiom and was hoping the velocity sensitive keys of the Acorn Masterkey would be a fix to that but it's actually worse in this regard if you're not a very heavy fingered player. You will learn to be! There does not appear to be any way to adjust the velocity sensitivity of the keys. Overall it's a good purchase for the price.

Perfect for Guitars and Swords!
I bought one of these for my electric guitar, then I bought a 5 pack to hold my acoustic guitar, bass guitar and some of the swords and axes I've collected over the years. I will likely pick up another pack of 5 to hang the rest of my medieval weapon collection. These work great for holding these items, the price can't be beat and they come with mounting screws and drywall anchors so you're all set when you open the package - all you need is a drill.

The users manual for the human body!
Jammed with 1200+ illustrated weight training & exercise variations, you're not likely to find anything more authoritative since it was first published in 1978. My edition appears to be from 2015. Arnold's "Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding" is excellent in depth reading and has a very good selection of exercises and programs buried in the center of it but if you're looking for a truly encyclopedic reference book of difefrent ways to hit every muscle in your body - this is it! Bill Pearl encouraged a lacto-vegetarian diet as well, so if you're into comparing and experimenting with nutrition theories he gives you an alternative to Arnold's steak & eggs. Note: Arnold is now more on the vegetarian side as well - so take from that what you will. Bottom line, if you wanna get into weight training this is the book!
