very nice grip, positive feel, nice quality.
these are odd-size batteries and odd voltage ratings. they would not charge on conventional chargers. the product comes with two batteries so you can always have one on the charger. always use fresh charged batteries or your beam might not be very visible. I use these for astronomy presentations, and the beam has to be VERY BRIGHT to be plainly visible in a clear and dark night. It can also indicate if there is haze after dark, since the beam will pick it up.

good value
2 of 2 found this helpful keep a battery on the charger. the batteries get weak within an hour or so typically, and when they have less power, the beam is less visible to anyone else. I use these green lasers for astronomy presentations, since they are very handy to point out objects in the night sky. Do not point them at other humans, aircraft or cops.

very flexible tool
2 of 2 found this helpful I noticed that some other reviews had indicated the cutter head end, being a bit heavy but perhaps this latest model is a lighter (stout plastic) housing. Possibly other users were trying to get it to reach high hedges. That isn't what I use it for.
Where I live (santa cruz mts., california bay area) we have annual profusion of a dense week known as french/scotch "broom" which is very flammable and develops a tall and woody bush. It is necessary to remove these for fire clearance regulation compliance.
This hedge trimmer is very good for use as sort of a high-end bush whacker, on rugged terrain. String trimmers cannot handle the thicker broom, but this tool makes pretty fast work of it.
Two improvements I would like to see (neither are killer issues): make the shoulder strap longer (greater range of adjustment) with an anchor that can slide closer to the cut-head, for balance;
make the telescoping mast extend MORE.
