EVGA CLC 240 Liquid / Water CPU Cooler, 240mm Radiator, RGB LED, 400-HY-CL24-V1

Good cooler for a good price

It was relatively easy to install on my AM4 board, the preinstalled Intel bracket was a little hard to get off, you kind of have to push in and turn counterclockwise to get it removed. Installation after that was a breeze. I used some aftermarket paste over the stock stuff so I can't speak to the quality of what was already applied but it looked to provide good coverage so I'm sure it's just fine. The preinstalled fans can be quite noisy at anything higher than ~75% speed (i think ~2100rpms) but setting it manually to ~60% speed seemed to have a good balance between noise and performance. The cooler is paired with an AMD Ryzen 1700X and idle is ~27C-35C, load ~40C-52C. The RGB on the cooler itself looks pretty cool and it does in fact sync up with my EVGA GTX 1080 so that's neat.

Orange Slipcover

I'll be honest, I only bought this because my original copy was apparently missing the orange slipcover. My 1.11 and 3.33 both have covers, so I wanted to complete the set, so to speak. Is it good value? Well... It's just for aesthetics, for me anyways, so I guess? Honestly this is probably my least favorite of the trilogy (suppose it's a quadrilogy now, 4th one better have a cover) so the buy was purely just for making my little collection look a tiny bit nicer.
