Nike Ajax from Renwal 50s vintage tool
This kit has been re-released many times over the years. As far as I know, it's the only available kid of this subject. By modern standards, it's pretty crude. With sufficient time, patience, and references, it makes up into a good likeness.
Enjoy it for what it is.

One of the better kits out there
One of the better 1/48 lots of this Korean War veteran jet. Reasonably detailed but can be made into a great replica with aftermarket parts and careful work.

Take it in the context of its time
0 of 1 found this helpful This kit was originally designed in the late 1950s. It is NOT up to modern standards and has multiple inaccuracies. There is little in the way of an interior. The "working bomb dropping" mechanism is toylike. The Accurate Miniatures kit is much better. It's also a bit hard to find and costs a lot more.
I bought the kit out of nostalgia. I built it as a kid in the 1960's. I wanted to try it again. It's a great kit for a child to learn on, but don't expect too much from it. After all, it only retails for around $10 where most 1/48 scale kits cost much more. You get what you pay for,
