Ho hum, yep, it's a solenoid valve.
It does work, but you get what you pay for... nah, you almost never get that much. I can't say much bad about this solenoid valve but I can't say much good about it either. It does work. But I did have a failure or so after a few months of use (cycling once every 6 minutes for a few hours per day). I have a number of them. The ones with Viton seals (for higher heat resistance) are a tad better (my water was never too hot anyway). They are, of course, made on China. I'm a cheap-skate so I'd buy them again, but I understand and accept that they are what they are. The alternatives are just too expensive for me.

"Okay" says it all
These are nothing to brag about, but when I needed one they did the trick. All I needed was the 5/16" diameter, but these were at a good price for my "once in a blue moon" project. I had to weld it to a bushing at the end of a 10ft stick of EMT to drill down a deep pipe. That worked just fine. I wasn't going to do that to a "good" bit. These bits are quite soft steel. I can hold the chuck in my drill press by hand (motor off) and with small pliers I can untwist one quite easily. At least it wasn't brittle, but then drill bits should be hard enough to hold a sharp point and spring back to their original shape; not these. Oh well, I guess (in this case) I got what I paid for. If I'd had higher expectations I would have given fewer stars.

Bought in 2018 and it still works fine.
1 of 1 found this helpful Bought it in 2018 and it is still working fine. Of course it is bigger than I needed but thats par for the course for most of these things. I am not a gamer and its just a motherboard, some hard drives and a small graphics card. But I'm happy with it.
