Not competitive.
At this price point you can get some great cameras. This is not one of them. I've had both the FZ300 and FZ1000 before this, and it suffers from the same problems: 1) Very sluggish to come to life. 2) Sluggish Zoom ring and top dial. 3) Picture Quality is poor: fuzzy focus, overexposed. 4) IBIS makes a lot of noise, becomes annoying. This is going back where it came from. You can do much better with other brands at this price.

Perfect addition to small production studio.
Tons of sounds, many of them good and useful in production. Excellent rhythm programming capability. And there's a Secret Weapon: a built-in Vocoder, which works pretty well.
