A good start
I would recommend this tablet as a starter Chrome OS device, if you can get it for $150 or less. It has a very nice screen and runs well. It can run Linux and Apps from the Google play store.
On the down side the wireless component isn't that great. The battery life could be better but it could be that I bought mine used and it wasn't treated well.

If you need slim it's okay
I should have taken more time to research this. It looked like a normal size as far as the footprint, it just is too flat for me. My hand was hurting after just a little while of use. To me the scroll wheel wasn't very smooth when rolling it and it was very loud. It works fine as a Bluetooth Mouse just not comfortable for me.

What can I say, I 💕 this pen 👍😃 Keep in mind you need to have the software or App that can use it's capabilities.
