Slow start, not as good as original, still worth my time.

This game took a while to grow on me. It had a painfully slow stat, to begin with, and I grew impatient with the storyline for the first hour or two of play. However, afterwards things picked up and I now enjoy this game. Not as good as the original, but a welcome addition to the collection if you're up for new poke'mon and a new storyline.

Expensive game because it's so good no one wants to sell it

I wasn't planning on buying this game. I'm not a huge fan of games like Animal Crossing or Sims, and that's what it looked like to me. My friend finally let me borrow his copy... and I played late into the night. It's that good! I bought it myself, but I was surprised at how little the value has dropped since the first distribution. Honestly, I think it's because no one wants to sell their copy. The gameplay is primarily a standard gaming RPG with a storyline, party, stats, abilities, bonus missions, etc. However, it is rare in that you can change your class at will. This allows you to be a completionist almost on your first run-through. There are NG+, which I feel always add to the replay value. The plot is neither predictable nor groundbreaking. It has a high replay value and it is easy to spend 50+ hours on one slot. This game is well worth both your time and your money. I would recommend it to both expert gamers and hobbyists.
