Great gasket at a great price
The gasket was far less money than the OEM part I looked at first. When a part is less than half that of another part, I tend to think that maybe it's not that great of quality. Luckily, that thought didn't apply here. The gasket was easy to install, yet it was a tight fit both in length and in thickness. I had to use a bit of pressure to get the gasket into place, and it formed a great seal. I'm very happy with this gasket, as it didn't leak a bit and was a perfect fit. Very satisfied!

Just a little big, but it works.
This, like many "O-rings" I've used are just a little too long to just drop into the groove for an easy assembly. I'm not sure exactly why this is, but it can be "worked around" to fit. Since the O-ring is slightly too long, I used a product called "Magic Lube" on it. It's a silicone product we use on O-rings in our swimming pool water system. If you completely coat the O-ring with this product (or maybe something else just like it), it becomes a little "sticky" and you can install it in the groove and "compress" the O-ring for length. The sticky silicone allows the O-ring to stay in place when you're placing it into the groove. Without this, the extra length just seems to move around the surface to different spots as you manipulate it.
This was our experience for this application (installing it into a gear box for our ice machine). You may not have the same problem and it may be a perfect fit. But if not, this may be the work around you're looking for.

A great value! Works as advertised.
I recently ordered 2 of these remotes. They arrived quickly, and instructions to set up were in the boxes. Super easy! The range was further than I expected, I was a couple houses away when I activated the button and it opened immediately. They were priced about 1/2 of other remotes I looked at. These are a lot "lighter duty" construction than other remotes. They might not survive a hard drop to the ground like others, but I can't (and don't want to) verify that. I am very happy with this purchase and I think you will as well!
