Replacement mirror for my classic Honda

These mirrors look to be of good quality and in fitting them I had no issues, however when it came to making the final slight adjustments before a ride out whilst sitting on the seat, one mirror adjusted without a problem, but the other sheared off in my hand. It would appear that there was a fault in the casted nut which covers the spring bolt. I'm pleased it happened at this time because I honestly believe it would have happened at sometime in the future due to wind pressure at speed. If you purchase these type of replacement mirrors I highly recommend that you give them a gentle tug after fitting to check their rigidity and flexibility. A replacement is on it's way to me and provided it passes a little test before I ride out I'll be quite happy.

The one to buy, not a cheap as some, but far, far better quality.

After trying cheaper a screen and being extremely disappointed, I went for this one and was immediately impressed. It was quick and easy to install and the quality was excellent. Installation instructions are clear and without any real mechanical experience I managed to have it installed in 10-15 minutes. I used the bike a few times in cold weather recently and found the protection the screen offers was very good considering that I'm 6'2". My only disappointment was that I wasted £23 on another screen before I purchased this one, which was difficult to install and ended up in the bin after just one ride. My advice is; pay a little extra and feel the benefit immediately.
