Works as advertised
2 of 2 found this helpful Bought this cell as a replacement for a dead 5 year old unit. Other than the controls being switched 180 degrees, it appeared identical. Quick, drop-in installation. Works well. Much less than the local pool suppliers wanted for the same unit.

Good quality for the price.
This weather seal kit uses a track made from PVC. It comes as 4 sections each about 54 inches long and appears to be adequate for the job. Because it's PVC, the track is easy to cut and drill for installation. The rubber seal is large and very flexible, and was easy to slide into the track. The rubber seal comes with a bit of extra material so you trim it to fit. The self-tapping screws look like they're meant for use with fiberglass or metal doors. I replaced them with #8 stainless wood screws for my wood door.
