Active Noise Cancelling Earbuds E610 Noise Cancelling In-ear Stereo Headphone...

Nice earbuds, cancel low-pitched noise well enough
These offer pretty good sound quality, and and pretty comfortable. They also cancel low-pitched noise, such as the low rumble of an engine or an open car window. However, they only eliminate that low-pitched sound, so in those examples, you can still hear the higher tones of wind through the window and some engine noise. They really are not good enough by themselves for using a lawn mower, either. Putting a set of ear muffs over these while mowing works pretty well.
These can be used for sound only without turning on noise-canceling. If you do use noise canceling, the unit must be charged for it to work. Also, noise-canceling can be activated without any sound input--it doesn't even need to be plugged into anything.
White Wired Gamepad USB Port Controller Joystick For Xbox360 Gaming SG

Cheap but hard to set up
Firstly, it was very inexpensive to me, so I was ready for a minor issue or two. However, I got more that that. This device came in a typical flashy almost-right, but intentionally not-quite-right package. It makes some grand statements which really mean nothing at all, and mimics genuine brands. Inside, there is a controller (of course) and driver CD. As for directions, well, not really. The CD does not autorun, so I open it and find two programs, with still not instructions. I try installing one and nothing happens, so I try the other and get a program for the controller. In this program, there are some options and settings which are not explained but are surprisingly complex. Dispite all my efforts, I could never get the controller to work with games--I blame the software. However, the software could detect input from all of the controller's buttons except for one The right trigger button never worked, and the cap is actually noticeably different in color and texture. It makes a nice ornament, but without good, understandable software, I'll never be able to use it. With a bad button, I guess it's no great loss anyway.
Universal Car Air Conditioning AC R134A Refrigerant Recharge Hose Pressure Gauge

Not bad, but doesn't have a check-valve.
It's a hose, with connectors on each end and a gauge in the middle. That's pretty much what I expected. The gauge is a little confusing, but usable. I was very disappointed to find that this does not have a check-valve, though, so the refrigerant will flow freely out of your system if you do not have enough counter-pressure to keep in it. I ended up recharging my (brand new) refrigerant can from my car, rather than the other way around. I'm worse off than when I started.
