Leave it.

Mine lasted 9 months, then the seal on the cutter blade stopped working and it leaked. I can’t find a replacement anywhere. Leave it, it’s rubbish

Much quieter.

You don’t realize how noisy the filter’s getting over the years; not that it was loud, because it wasn’t. But when I replaced everything with this kit, the difference was very noticeable.
