Built like a tank, improved over previous model
I used to have the QTN130LE1-A and bought the QTN130LE1-B as a replacement (without realizing they were different). My only complaint is that nearly every aspect of the fan that could make replacing the previous model difficult was changed.
--Cons: (not really applicable if you are installing in a brand new location
The exhaust port adapter is a different size, the housing is slightly bigger in one dimension, and the mounting brackets extend further beyond the edges of the housing.
--Pros:
The fan is quieter and more powerful, and in my opinion the light fixture is easier to remove and replace when changing the bulbs or connecting components. The exhaust adapter is metal (more rigid) and the motor looks like it'd be easier to swap.
--Overall a great fan so far, if you're shopping for replacement parts though, be 100% sure you specify QTN130LE1-A vs QTN130LE1-B ... even the manufacturer's website and replacement parts pictures aren't 100% correct and nobody bothers to specify which version of the fan/light is being sold online.
