Hikvision 5MP HD TVI Dome Camera DS-2CE56H0T-ITMF Outdoor 2.8mm Original
    Oct 24, 2020
    Hikvision 5MP DS--2CE56HOT-ITMF 2.8mm Turrent Dome Camera
This camera works great on my newly purchased Hikvision DVR and settings on the camera can be changed over the PTZ menu on my DVR. Video options available are 4M30, 4M25, 2P20 and 2P25. So, if you have an older DVR that will not operate on 4M30 over coax cable, you can probably still use the camera on 2P20 or 2P25 if you can change the mode manually with the pushbutton or use IVMS software to change the camera settings. Otherwise, it will not work on older 2MP DVRs. Just to be clear, this is not an IP camera, it is analog over coax. The 4M30 video is much clearer than that 2MP 1080P cameras that I previously used. Sadly, I don't have a 4K TV where I can view the video as it was meant to be seen, but I am sure that I will in the future and these cameras make that possible. The mounting was identical to some older 2MP cameras I used, so all I had to do was unplug the old cameras and plug in the new ones. Price was pretty good on this auction, so I am pleased.
Directed Electronics Avital 3100 1-Way Security System 2 remotes 3100L NEW
    Jul 13, 2017
    Avital 3100 Security System
This system was a great price and does what it says that it will do. The parts I got were brand new and used it to replace an older Directed Electronics systems that did not work. The installation instructions are rather generic, so get ready to do a lot of research if you want to install it yourself, which I did. I am still not sure how to connect the door sensors and ignition sensor inputs on the unit to my F150. But, I had intended on using the system to just remotely lock and unlock doors, which it does without those inputs. It would be helpful if Avital would provide some more specific wiring instructions for different vehicles. The installation instructions just tell you which wires of what color perform what functions. There are almost no schematics or wiring diagrams provided, so they are not going to help you determine how to wire the unit, at all. However, it does work and for the price, it is a great buy. And, it was delivered super fast from the seller I selected, like in 2 days after I ordered it.

18Ch Channel Power Supply Distribution Box 12V DC 20A for CCTV Security Camera
    Sep 22, 2020
CCVT 12V Power Supply 18 Channel
This power supply works as described, but not after some fixes that were made after I received it. The indication LED for the cover was dangling inside the box and not even plugged into the lid. I plugged it in and glued it in place with rubber cement, so it looks normal and it does work. The power supply was mounted in the box with screws that were really not the right size for the holes on the side of the box and one was just barely held in place, as a result of the wrong size screws with no washers. I remounted them with #4 metric washers so that they were secure. The switch on the power supply was set on 220V for some strange reason, which would only give me 10V DC output at first. I thought the power supply was bad at first because of that switch position. I had to remove the power supply from the box and take the cover off to move the switch to the 110V point. After all that, it works great.
