Design defect
The product has a serious design defect and that is that the critical spring should be made of stainless steel. In relatively short time the spring corroded, thereby becoming nonfunctional. The chopper blade cannot turn if the spring fails.

Bar seems well made. Chain is giving good service so far.

Apparently precharged. Started my DR field and brush mower right out of the box.It replaced one of sme brand and size which gave long service.
