Roku is cool!
I had an old blu ray which was about to be not supported by netflix anymore so picked up the Roku. Crazy easy to set up and use and works perfectly! The older ones will support hdmi and analog audio out which is exactly what I needed.

Marshall Haze 15 watts of tube goodness!
1 of 1 found this helpful First off, I'll not go into the features as there are a ton of vids and descriptions on the internets. I love 6V6 output tubes and can't really understand why everyone seems to use the EL-84 tubes for smaller amps. I always wanted a channel switching amp with the 6V6 tubes and really didn't expect Marshall to make it but they did so I purchased the Haze.
Ok, I made a 4-10" cab from birch hardwood plywood with two old alnico 10"s (from a Fender '59 Bassman reissue) in the sealed bottom half and Celestions in the open back top half. The Haze loves this cab and they go together perfectly.
For anyone worrying about the Haze only being 15 watts, well it's a lesson that took me years to sort out. When I was young I of course had 100 watt amps and it was always overkill. The Haze or any 15 watt tube amp will get way louder than a drum kit and that's all you need unless you play huge arenas. The Haze is LOUD!
The rhythm channel on the Haze is fantastic. Turn it up to around 7 and work your guitar volume and live in mini 'Plexi' land. The lead channel of course has more gain and many lovely tones can be found here too.
The Haze gets along fine with my strat, but humbuck pickups are where this guy really shines. You can get all sorts of fantastic 70's tones with the Haze.
Oh, if you don't push in the treble boost button, it doesn't sound like a Marshall. This makes the Haze versatile as no treble boost you can get an almost Fendery clean but push it in and crank the amp a bit and there's your Marshall growl.
I really like this amp, it's a perfect compliment to my Mesa Boogie and Fender amps. You've got your Marshall sound in a smaller package that lets you crank it a bit without the over the top volume.
Brilliant design, fantastic head!

With a set up, this guitar is excellent!
I'm experienced with guitar set ups and I did have to work on this for a bit. Mine needed fret ends filed, bass string nut slots filed down a bit and I took 1/16" off the bottom of the saddle. Once done this thing plays great! Also, it's got the good tuners and stays in tune just fine. It even shipped with nice sounding strings which is pretty unheard of. This guitar is a steal!
