Time will tell.

They advertised that it is galvanized. It is painted to make it look like it is galvanized. I also find that the square tube, that the plastic tube, not PVC, slides on, could be a little longer. I have only had them on my trailer for a week now, so time will tell how long they last in the salt water environment that I fish in.
