Better than other options for dimmable bulbs (of which there aren't many)
We have tried various bulbs for the ceiling fixtures in our kitchen, and only these are any good. Decent light, decently dimmable.

A simple, cheap and very effective upgrade if your laptop has a crap wireless card
Bought a Dell E7250 laptop at a good price on eBay, and all basically good with it. Was astonished to find that it was of a simple enough configuration to have such a lame wireless card that it only used 2.4G, not 5G wireless networks. Could hardly believe it, as I last saw this in much less good laptops from years ago, or from disappointing Android tablets. So buying this newer and better card for about £15 was a great way to compensate for this problem and use the laptop as I had expected to. A tiny bit fiddly to replace with the aerial wires, but have never had any problems with it once Windows 10 found the driver OK. Recommended.

Pick up one of these while they are still fast enough for today's needs!
These machines are still a great alternative to overly big laptops - or overly pricey thin laptops. The battery life is pretty decent, and best of all, the laptop is solid, which is all the more impressive given its size, and the screen is bright and clear. People will ask you if it is a netbook, and it really isn't that much bigger - and, if bought at a good price like this, second hand, it isn't even that much more expensive. I have used more than one of these and would recommend them.
