Works like a charm
6 of 7 found this helpful Received the package in a small envelope. Even though packaging was shabby, but the CPU was nicely sealed in a plastic enclosure and wrapped inside some carton board. A nice and economic way for packaging.
The CPU was cleansed properly. No thermal paste was visible. Installing was a breeze. I have a old Dell Optiplex 755 which came with a Dual Core CPU. Removing the old CPU was easy. After cleaned up the old thermal paste from the heat sink, and reapplied thermal paste, it was put into place.
Booted up Windows 10 and voila, it just worked. CPU info from CPUz confirmed it's as a Core 2 Quad Q9650. Benchmarks yielded similar results as found on the Internet.

Good CPU for upgrade an old mac pro 2013
The package was quite secure with enough cusion for the CPU to be safely transported. The CPU is very clean considering it's used. The vendor indeed stamped it with ink, but it's easy to remove. Overall, satisfied.
