I make it work
It installed and fit really easily and looks fine, but the handle did not spring back into place. I ended up pulling the metal mechanism out of the original handle and sticking it in this unit and it works fine. Some of the formed pieces in the original handle and holes in the metal mechanism did not perfectly line up, but there is a screw that does lnie up and holds it in place.

Not sure
I bought this to replace the existing Aux Jack on my daughters 2011 CX 9. It fit like a glove, but still did not fix my problem. I ended up soldering 2 pins together on the original Aux Jack breadboard and fix it that way. The bread board was a different shape than the original, so I this might not be a direct replacement for 2011.
