Good Blower not a fantastic vacuum.
The item works very well as a blower. It is easy to maneuver with the blowing attachments. I would give it a rating of 5 as a blower. It becomes somewhat bulky when you attach the vacuum attachments. It is a little challenging to maneuver as a blower and the suction isn't great for leaves. I went over areas more than once to pick up leaves. Also, depending on the area you vacuum in, watch out! The collection bag on the vacuum can kick out a lot of dust. I would rate the vacuum at a 2-3. Once you can actually get some leaves in the bag I think the mulcher does an okay job. I vacuumed leaves on my grass and one think I noted is that this picks up small individual leaves okay but if you try to get larger leaves or even clumps it doesn't not work very well. I had to lay it on its side and hand feed leaves into it. I also tested in my driveway and I discovered I had to hold the bottom of the vacuum level on the concrete in a sweeping motion in order for it to pick up leaves.
