GREAT CUSTOMER, FAST PAYMENT, A+++++++++++++++++++
Extremely well made but also double the price of of the competition, and I don't know if the FelPro would be just as good. But it's typical Moroso, top of the line stuff.
BBC CHEVY 454 Fabricated Aluminum Valve Covers Polished 427 Big Block Chevy 396

Valve covers didn't fit
These covers are beautiful, when I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised. My 454 has the #781 Oval Port heads, but that shouldn't matter. I struggled for three hours trying to get them on. The 1/4"X3/4" flange that seats on the heads is so wide, it hits the rear rockers. A fix would involve relieving the flange wherever a rocker is located. The next problem was that five (5) of the fastening bolts lined up, two did not, they were off by probably .100" so there's no way to compensate without risking a cracked weld. I used top of the line Moroso gaskets which have a little extra space in the bores, but the welded tubes inside the valve covers were not dead nuts on. A suggestion would be to do a QC check for every bore rather than just weld these up. Another suggestion would be to chamfer the starting end of the fastening bolts and make them maybe 1/8"-1/4" longer so they "find" the thread if they get the alignment fixed. Bummer bc they were gorgeous valve covers that I had to return. KMJ was very understanding, but it still cost me $26.00 to ship them back.
