Very disappointed

Haven previously (10 years ago) used this product I had no hesitation in buying it again but am not at all satisfied with the results. I tested the spray on samples of the material to make sure it was colour fast then used it but it has no water resistance whatsoever. I have coated material ( used on loose furniture covers) and also on test strips - 3 coatings provide no more water resistance than sample with no coatings. Vey disappointed after spending more than £40.
