Great for kayak, motorcycle, or when you can split the weight.
This is the best "big" tent I've ever owned. No comparison to glamping junk at all, and better than a Eureka K-2 XT (3p 4-season dome). It is about 2/3 the volume (and 3lb lighter) of my K-2, but the pole sections are shorter so it packs up smaller. I would say it can easily fit two with gear in comfort, or three if you put their packs in the (huge!) vestibule. Perfect for kayak camping, or dragged in a pulk for winter, or if you split fly/tent/poles three ways. There are so many stakes and guys I leave half behind and it still easily stood up to 25mph winds. I like that its inner tent is dark- makes it impossible for others to see in, good for sleeping in day, and easy to see mosquitoes. You can still see out in daytime. Besides the doors, there is very little mesh, so good against spindrift or sand. Though there are mesh pockets all around, and the ceiling is well above head when sitting, there is no gear loft. I stitched in a bunch of grosgrain loops so I can add one. The biggest selling point for me, besides the nondescript green color, is the mega-vestibule. You can actually sit in it (not just feet sticking out the doorway, but IN the vestibule) and cook or whatever. I made a Tyvek "doormat" for this purpose. Bit of a ramble, but I really like this tent, and got it for a price that lets me ignore the few little things!

Can use for 7.4V Baofeng UV-5R radio battery packs.
5 of 5 found this helpful I wanted a more portable power source for my Baofeng UV-5R series radios, which only come with a wobbly desk stand, with only AC or 12V sources available, nothing USB for sale.
So, I fabbed a custom wrap-around contact harness from Hypalon fabric and velcro, with #4-40 screws for contacts and a small barrel connector to plug to the charge board. It delivers 1A continuously, and will fill a depleted standard-capacity Li-Ion battery in under 3 hours from an Anker tank. Also works for the larger batteries which come with the BF-F8HP series.
Note- pictures are to show the harness only. The charger you see was my first attempt, a junk charger (different brand) which didn't supply even 0.1A. Dropped this product in, and it immediately exceeded expectations.
Tech notes- this charger isn't a balance charger (i.e. it only puts out + and - ), but that doesn't matter for my application since the center terminal on Baofeng batteries is a temperature sensor, not a balance port. You don't need to use the barrel sockets, you could solder to some output pads which are clearly marked. The shrink wrap is stiff and provides good short protection, though I wouldn't call it at all water resistant. Red LED means charging, switches to blue when complete.

This may be the coolest case I've ever had.
Subject is clear frosted with black rubber bezel.
The case fits very tightly, but is just flexible enough to pop the phone out without too much trouble. There is a small "lip" which wraps around the front, stopping just at the edge of the actual glass, protruding just enough to keep even a tempered glass screen protector from directly touching a surface when placed face-down.
The cut-outs are perfectly placed to allow normal-sized headphone and micro-USB connectors. There are openings for microphone and IR-blaster. The camera opening and outer edge have a nice chamfer which is not frosted, providing a cool contrast. The entire inner surface and the outer surface less chamfers is lightly frosted.
Here's the coolest part- you can make print your own skin and sandwich it between the case and battery cover. Check out this article: (nevermind, stupid rules-) search for "xda-developers review supcase lg g3 case premium hybrid protector by foxyguy" (images below are from his review)
