Black loses its bite!
The Hogue grips solve the problem of slippery wood grips and the resulting impact of the dangerously sharp trigger guard. It protects the point from damaging your fingers as well as makes the grip secure in your hand. It is simple to install.
This works just as well as the one on my Smith & Wesson

Andre Norton Adventure in an historical context.
Appealing to young adults as well as Napoleonic wars history buffs. An insight as to how smugglers can be used by the crown for spying, yet still be pursued by the tax gatherers. As today one hand not knowing what the other is doing. The story rings true as if it might have happened.
There are elements reminiscent of Edison Marshall's 1947 book Yankee Pasha, but this yarn is intended for younger readers.
Ms Norton tells a fine story without the need for today's technobabble, but uses a lot of the period jargon of the underbelly of London and the stilted speech of the Georgian era ruling caste. The setting of the tale is well researched and is from the point of view of a young American who grew up a captive of native Americans (and later a warrior) who is thrust into the responsibilities of a wealthy viscount just before the War of 1812. His actions seem totally reasonable to an American, but cause problems when performed by a young aristocrat.
It is a nice tale to while a stormy evening away, and as always, there is a happy ending for the good guys.

8gig DDR3
This ram performs much better than the 4 gig that came with the Toshiba laptop new in 2015. There is faster boot up and less time between screens. It seems that 4 gig is inadequate even with DDR3.
