This is an excellent piece of kit. Say no more!!!

I bought this to replace an old Sony DVD player and update my Freeview + S-VHS video set-up. I am now transcribing tapes onto the hard drive and then onto DVD. This is a bit laborious as it will only record at normal speed (of course). It has a single digital tuner, so you can't watch another channel while it's recording, but I still have the other digibox! It works well with the Sony TV, giving excellent pictures from recordings and DVDs. It can also write programmes onto DVD+RW, that I can exchange with another similar setup (having an RDR-HXD970), so I can get around the single tuner restriction that way too.

For a long time I thought there wasn't a Haynes manual for my Honda. Obviously I wasn't looking in the right place! Four stars because it's only available in paperback, so may not be as long-lasting, but it is available.

I bought this to replace a faulty older-model Nuvi. This was listed as incomplete, but I had enough bits from the older one to get this fully operational and updated. That was a good deal. Thanks to the BHF eBay Shop!
