Perfect Replacement Part
This part fit perfectly and resolved my AC problem. I ordered this in the effort to avoid spending the $1200 that local auto air conditioning services quoted me after they told me that the compressor had gone bad on my daughter's 2003 Honda Accord LX 2.4L.. After I took off the serpentine belt and was able to rotate the compressor clutch assembly with no unusual effort and no worrisome noises I checked for power to the compressor. I had power all the way to the clutch coil but the clutch would not engage so I gambled and ordered the new clutch coil. I pulled the compressor out (45 minutes in fairly tight quarters) and replaced the clutch coil (about 1 tedious hour with improvised snap ring pliers).. I bought Harbor Freight AC gauges and borrowed a vacuum unit from AutoZone to clean out and recharge the system. The refrigerant had been captured by one of the AC shops. The air conditioning now works perfectly. Altogether, I spent about $150 instead of $1200. If you think the problem is your clutch coil and you're fairly mechanically inclined, this is a doable home garage project.

Successfully Combined 2 Digital TV Antennas
3 of 3 found this helpful I got this inexpensive but useful splitter/combiner to pull in all the local digital channels from TV station antennae/broadcasters that were in essentially opposite directions from my house. Prior to adding the combiner an omnidirectional antenna did not quite do the trick. To the degree possible, I aimed the omnidirectional north toward the mountain on which multiple stations have broadcasting antennae. I also mounted a small directional antenna on the same mast but aimed it southeast at a single station's antenna that is only about 4 miles from our house. Prior to installing the splitter I was getting erratic reception, to say the least. Now I get every station that's available. I was still having some interference during rainy or snowy weather but since changing to a shorter, shielded coaxial, cable and getting rid of one adapter I've had no problems with interference. I had read several posts online stating that this sort of arrangement simply would not work. It works well for me.

Tyvek Groundsheet Works Well
2 of 2 found this helpful This Tyvek groundsheet was reasonably priced, arrived quickly, and came with tie down tabs and instructions for softening the material up so that it's less noisy. In addition to washing it without detergent and air drying it, I also just crumpled it up a few times and it's much more pliable and quiet now. As a ground sheet, I've found that Tyvek is fairly light, very durable, and sheds dirt well before packing it up.
