Roku Netflix player

If your download speed is adequate, downloaded TV is quite acceptable. Anything below 1 meg/second can cause whatever you're watching to stop every few minutes to reload the buffer. That's irritating. But the faster the download speed, the less it happens. Not MUCH worse than commercials on broadcast TV, really. Speeds above 2.5 meg/second allow most movies to play nonstop--with high or very high quality (as defined by Netflix). Personally, I don't see much difference on our TV between what Netflix puts out as 2 dots (their lowest quality) versus 4 dots (their highest quality)...4 dot quality just takes longer to download. Even their 2 dot is quite watchable...none of the missing pixels common to satellite TV when the signal is weak.
It lacks an on/off button (either on the box itself or the remote), which would be nice to have. And if you attempt to use it when disconnected from the internet, it gets really confused and usually has to be unplugged to restart. But it's exactly what the advertising says it is.

If you were familiar with the original paperback version and its ultra-simple pronunciation guide, you might be a little bit disappointed.
Otherwise, this is an excellent quick reference [abridged] dictionary.

We Got Nuts Cashews 4 lb bag
1 of 1 found this helpful A tad more money than cashews I bought at a local market yesterday, but well worth it! WGN cashews were lightly salted and roasted to perfection! And still slightly lower price than gourmet foods co-op.
Will probably buy again.
