Good but not great

This would have gotten five stars except for two issues: 1. It is loud. The Collings fan simply makes you wonder if something is wrong with the unit, but this is a regular complaint and the sound does not come through the recordings, so it is just laud with no other consequences. 2. No matter what unit I have tried, and I have tried many, the sound is not always fully synched with the video. This is a vey comment problem with writing VHS tape sources to DVD, but its better than not getting old videos workable at all.

Sigma 50mm F2.8 DG Macro Lens for Sony Alpha A Mount USA Refurbished 346205

Decent Macro lens but not the best

When I originally purchased this lens, I had read on the internet that it did have a focus motor in Sony Alpha mount. It does not. When I received the lens, it did not focus on an A7R Mark II with a Sony LE-AE3 adapter - no movement at all. I then wrote Sigma and they responded that this lens does not have a motor in the Sony Alpha mount. It is manual focus only unless you get a Sony LE-AE4 adapter which has its own internal motor. Still, for a macro lens using manual focus it works well.

Good but not best MFT Camera

I currently use the Panasonic GX8 and the Olympus E-M1 and E-M5 Mark II. The higher resolution of the Panasonic does not really make a practical difference in image quality and the E-M1 is overall a better, more useable camera, but the GX8 is certainly a very capable camera and will give awesome results in the hands of a good photographer.
