Mini 0807 ~ great small size and wide angle lens ~ parking mode is a little iffy
I have two of these mini 0807 dash cams (one bought from Hong Kong and one bought form China) and both look exactly the same.
Everything is good about it, the size, the wide angle lens, the video quality is pretty good too. The reason I bought it because it has the OBD II option for parking mode. Here is where I have a with it.
1) The mini 0807 I got from Hong Kong was installed in my Sienna 2007 with ODBII cable and it works great. It does what it said ~ I set it to record one frame per second when the car is off. I can free the frame and the photo is pretty clear (day or night). I tested the battery monitor function by not turning on the van for three days and it still able to record in parking (one frame per second) and the van started just fine. After the forth day, the camera stopped recording in parking mode but the van started fine.
2) The mini 0807 I bought from China works fine as above as far as dash cam functions and quality goes. However, I am NOT able to get it to record in parking mode more than 5 minutes. I installed it in an Acura RDX 2013 so I cannot say how its parking mode work because it keeps turning off after a few minutes after I turned off the car. Maybe the Acura ODBII works differently from the Toyota Sienna ODBII. Or maybe the one I received is defective on the parking mode.
If the parking mode works, I would have given it five stars!

Genuine Toyota part and it fits and work perfectly.
Genuine Toyota part and it fits and work perfectly. Only took 5 mins to replace the PCV on the 2007 Sienna.

HP96A cartridge
There is nothing too much to write about it. I bought the original and genuine HP96A cartridge because I just hate the after market ink since I have never had good experience with the after market (inkjet type). I don't want to take the risk with this one. This production is what I expected, it fits well into the printer and it prints smoothly. If you want ink, get the genuine ink.
