High-end Point-and-Shoot!
After using my Lumix DMC-LX3 for over a year, I can say that it is a very good camera. Not too big (DSLR), not too small (most digital cameras). The battery life is very good - I'm rarely in situations that I need to charge the battery very often, apart from on vacations. During vacations, I charge the camera every couple of days and that has been fine.
I love to take low-light photos, and the LX3 is very good at it. I have taken hand-held shots at dusk, with movement, and the photos were sharp edge-to-edge. If you prop up the camera on something, or use a tripod, even better.
I bought several lens attachments, but never use any of them - they stay at home. I bought a Clearviewer viewfinder (www.clearviewer.com) and it stays on my camera permanently. The Clearviewer enables you to put your eye right up to the fold-out lens and it's like looking at a large screen TV when you're about ready to take a shot.

One of the funniest movies since A Fish Called Wanda
My wife and I almost never re-watch movies, but we've seen this twice and got more out of it (and laughed at different spots) than the first time. Watch the bonus too - hilarious!
