Systems expected expectations of all persons should not always be seen as being the norm for
people are different, so their situations are different ones too.
The inflexibility of our modern system to make allowances is seen by those in charge as being only the fault of the person themselves and not that the system should make allowances to cope and be more flexible.
Daniel Blake is seen as being only a Square peg in a round hole" an idiomatic expression which describes the unusual individualist who could not fit into a niche in our modern societies rules .
Rules should be for guidance but in our modern world they have become the rule made by the inflexible to be obeyed by all no matter what.
This is a film of the infallibility of those in charge to understand the simple fact that not all people are the same.
I Daniel Blake is a film we should all see , if only to be able to understand one simple fact ..
A Square peg will not fit in a round hole unless one destroys the peg
