Pristine 2015 Gibson SG Standard Fireburst w Original Hard Case

2015 Gibson SG Standard

I've wanted an SG since I let mine go back in 1975. This one makes me wish I had gotten a new one years ago. The slightly wider neck of the new ones is a different feel, but the neck is still thin, comfortable, and fast. I bought this one primarily to play slide guitar, and the pickups have the exact bite that I was hoping for. The volume and tone controls are smooth, and linear in their response. I haven't fiddled with the G-Force automatic tuning system much yet, but it seems to be pretty accurate. And of course, you don't have to use it if you don't want to. I do wish the SG wasn't neck-heavy, because the neck falls when you let go of it. But that's just a characteristic of all SGs. All in all, I'm delighted with this guitar.

Brass Knuckle Chain Necklace

I would have liked this necklace better if the brass knuckle piece were somewhat larger, but it's still cool. The chain is a simple dog tag bead chain, but if you replace the chain with a good quality chain it makes a nice necklace. In all, glad I bought it.

Classy, fun, well-made

I received my custom truss rod cover for my Gibson SG and am delighted with it. The engraving is very well done and it fit perfectly. It's a very cool way to personalize my guitar. I ordered another one for my other guitar.
