    Lovely book
I loved these books when I was a girl in the 1960s. Purchased to share the joy with my granddaughter. She loves the characters and story and I love that the gospel message is woven into the tapestry of the story.

    A good read
I read this book,my first Jefferson Bass novel, after reading a newspaper article about the two authors and the U of T body farm. I found the first five chapters moved slowly, but after that the pace picked up and the rest of the book read quickly. I figured out who-dun-it more from details that were missing from the plot development rather than from details that were revealed, i.e., an important character who was not introduced until the climax. I kept wondering why this character was not revealed earlier, and supposed that he had a great deal to do with the mystery of the mummy. I was right. All in all, I guess it was really an average mystery, but the forensic details were fascinating.
