WANTED DISTANCE!! GOT DISTANCE!!
I was looking for a quality shaft with performance, that could add distance to my 88 mph swing....On a good day, I was 210-215 with driver. I re-shafted to the Alidla Phenom in regular flex, and thought for sure I'd made a big mistake, the first 14 holes, but then on the last few holes, I found the sweet spot on my driver. Instant 20-30 yds further than 3 previous shaft fittings. Not kidding!! The low spin, increased my carry and roll, and of course I began to muscle up on the ball, with some serious courage...There were a couple of times I was very close to 250 yds off the tee. The accuracy has always been there for me, but at 67 yrs of age, purchasing that shaft, really made me feel like a youngster. On a par 4, 400 yds. There is a big difference hitting an 7 or 6 iron for my second shot, instead of a 4 or 3 hybrid like before.....These shaft came out a few years ago, but I can't think of anything else for golfing seniors, that really assist with distance, like the Phenom

Great Price!! but not for someone who hooks the ball
I purchased this driver for the shaft, thinking the diamana would aid in distance, but the torque was too high at 5.0 which twisted more, causing a draw, which explains why they made the face 1 degree open. Did get distance, but lost direction. Perfect if you slice or fade. I already draw the ball___now realize 3.0 torque or lower suffice.
