GOOD FOR SM-AREA NOT FOR LG-AREA TO KEEP FROM FREEZING.NOT FULL TIME HEATER
I only got to use it a few times and it worked just OK. I thought it would have a better fan on it. I was trying to heat a small apartment 2 open rooms of about 450SF. So I kind of expected it to heat it quickly and maintain it easily without running a lot, as it's rated to "HEAT" and "maintain" rooms that are "1500SF". "BS", I can't see how it would heat a "Cold" room of that size in a cold area. I live in the LasVegas area and it doesn't get "COLD" here.(Like NH where I'm from) It we just get a few cool nights here in the 30's and it was about 36-degrees the first night I used it. it took about 10 hours of running at full to get it warmed up to 62 degrees and it never got above that running full blast. (It got to over 60 outside during the day so we shut it off and went outside to save on electric bill) I set it for 72 and it never kicked off... So, if your trying to heat a small 10x15 bedroom then it's ok, but if you're trying to heat a large kitchen-Dining room in a "cold" area forget it. It will help keep it from freezing but it won't get it toasty warm anytime soon! Depending on what your electric rates are you might be better off with a electric pro-heater or if oil prices come down stay with oil heat. But in a pinch this will help. Defiantly not worth over $100. But if you can get it for $99. or less than it's a good backup heater. That's my two cents, hope that helps someone...

NOT EASY FOR MACS
0 of 1 found this helpful Wanted it for a backup drive for my "OLD" Macbook pro, but it wouldn't read it... Had to call Seagate to have a tech spend 3 hours walking me through all the steps to try to get it working, and once it started working it was very "SLOW" as this is a 1TB drive and I'm backing up about 500GB and according to the specs it should have taken about 20 minutes or less to complete, but it took over 4 hours!!! It is "Quiet" and as for reliable I have know idea as I loaded it and have done one other backup since the first time... I only do a backup about once every 6 months or if I download something I need to keep...Hopefully it lasts as a friend bought one loaded it as a backup, and his computer crashed so he got a new hard drive and went to back it up onto the new drive and it failed!! something about a bad sector... So all his family pictures and stuff was "GONE"!! So you might need 2 of them... As soon as I can I'm getting another one maybe a WD to keep a second backup...

Wish it was a little brighter, but it will work in an Emergency...
I don't know how long the battery keeps a charge,Or how long it would last before it has to be recharged, so that's why I only gave it 4 stars... Hopefully I will do a Video on it when I get out of this Hospital bed... But I Charged one of them up and it seemed to work fine, has ok, amount of light, (Wish it was a little "brighter" for changing a tire or trying to find something in total darkness...) So I think I will look for a 30W on sale to see if that is bright enough... But this is better than nothing and these make great gifts for someone that doesn't have anything in their vehicle... I will give a more thorough review once I have run some test on it, but if it lights up for more than 30 min on a charge, it will be worth the money... As most tire changes take less than 30 minutes...
