Fantastic
This box of CDs are fantastic. I read Enid Blyton as a child but don’t recall reading The Magic Faraway Tree. Her language is limited but the fantasy world and characters she creates is rich and vibrant. My nearly 5 year old boy listens enrapt and on summer vacations when we had 3 hour journeys, I didn’t hear a word - unless I turned it off and he’d ask me to put it back on straight away! Kate Winslet is really easy to listen to (unlike some children’s CDs) and does a fabulous job at voicing different characters in a subtle way. Hours of listening. Can’t recommend it enough!
