I know the family that owned this company and wanted a copy of the book for my bookcases as a keepsake. Bought some pottery here on ebay as a gift for the daughter of the man, Mr. Lewis that created the business. Thanks for the purchase of a nice product and step back in time. The owner of the company made plumbing supplies, and, when the war broke out, home sales were nearly non-existant. He was brilliant and created these products during that time to bring an affordable joy to many homes during sad and stressful times. Whem the war ended, he resumed the original business. Abingdon Pottery became collectible many, many years later.
