Product reeks of strong chemical smell.

The tools were okay, I knew they would be generic. But would have never ordered them if I knew they were from Japan/ China. The writing on the box is in a foreign language . The reason I scored it so low is the smell. It reeks of some sort of strong chemical. The case itself that the tools are in. It's horrible. The rubber handles on the tools are just as bad. I sat it out, thought maybe it just needs aired out. Days later the whole room smells, just as strong. I got them for my daughter. But I'm afraid whatever the chemical is would be harmful to my grandchildren.
