Expensive But It Does The Job (Mostly)
6 of 8 found this helpful Bought the top of the line 980 - Refurbishished Unit. It works OK but the battery that came with it was the wrong part. Battery worked but caused a few problems with the unit's functionality. My kit was missing the edging brush, vacuum filter and the power cord for the recharger looked like it had been chewed upon by a cat or some rodent but the dealer quickly replaced the parts so all is good now. Had to contact Roomba directly and request support because my Roomba would not return to the charging station and they supplied me with a new battery. That's how I found out it was originally shipped with the wrong battery. Now my Roomba does all it's supposed to do. It works. It does get hung up on occasion. It does clean my hardwood floors and rugs very well. May not have needed the most expensive model however to get the same results. Your choice and results may vary. All in all - I'm now happy with it now that I've got all the parts and issues resolved. I do recommend Roomba.
