VERY DANGEROUSLY HIGH POWER GREEN LASER POINTER
1 of 2 found this helpful I'm a laser engineer so I bought this hoping the power was going to be higher than stated. Boy was I right on that hunch! These lasers are all being sold labelled as having a maximum output of 5 milliwatts, likely to evade various jurisdictional restrictions on laser pointer power around the world. Upon receiving the unit, loading the batteries and merely pointing the beam at a wall I could immediately tell the power was higher than 5mW. How high? With a laser power meter calibrated to 533nm at work and using fresh lithium AAA batteries THE UNIT PUTS OUT OVER 50 MILLIWATTS OF LASER LIGHT. This is highly, HIGHLY dangerous. The human eye cannot blink fast enough to prevent permanent retinal damage on viewing a laser beam directly (or reflected from a shiny surface) with a power this high. It's excellent for pointing out objects in the night sky, the beam is highly visible along its entire length, but these things are very deceptively and dangerously mislabeled and HAVE to be causing significant eye damage in unwary buyers, likely particularly kids unwittingly using them carelessly.

Incredible that you can get a multimeter for $3
Plastic pieces a little shoddy around the edges but no big deal. Doesn't like to be switched from one measurement mode to another, needs to be switched to the off position for a second first. Other than that, works great for common volt / ohm measurements.
