Haynes Automotive Repair Manuals
I've been working on cars, vans, SUVs, trucks & motorcycles since 1968. Whenever I get a used vehicle or mine starts to pass it's warranty period, I try to get a Haynes Repair Manual. They have enough detail to give even the novice mechanic the ability to work on their vehicle with relative ease. They have enough information and description to not over whelm you, yet help walk you through most situations with confidence. I highly recommend them as books, well worth their weight for the backyard mechanic or a seasoned one.
